Red Rock is about 17 miles west of Las Vegas and 'lives up to its name'.
It emerged from a 400 million year old seabed.
In 1990 the area was declared a National Protected Area. The whole area is about 197 acres.
The 13 miles long panoramic road can only be used as a one-way street

Near by is the Petroglyph Wall, and worth to visit.
